Reading Landscapes (2023) is a Broken Plasticspublic art project created by Nicole Chochrek. The project consists of a fleet of Microplastic Recycling Bins placed strategically in the Greater Buffalo area to help curb the impact of plastic pollution. The bins will be outside from May to October, 2023.
The following are 10 of 44 illustrations by Amy Dierdorf of micro- and macroplastics collected internationally by Nicole Chochrek. These illustrations are featured on the design of the Microplastic Recycling Bins publicly installed as part of the Reading Landscapes project.
